Back To School Scrapbook

It's time for back to school, the kids are excited and so are you. Everyone takes that first day of school picture, so why not start a scrapbook for your kids in each grade. Your youngsters can see a picture of their first day of school and they can personalize only their favorite projects, activities, art work and place them in their scrapbook. They can work on this scrapbook as if it were a year book, you normally buy from the school only this one will be personalized. I don't have kids but if I did, I would include everything from the first day of school pictures, projects, artwork, if they got a good grade on a subject they struggled with, I would also include sporting event pictures, pictures with friends. I would have my kids write down descriptions of each item they placed in the scrapbook. If you have more than one child and want to make a scrapbook but don't want to do individual ones then just get one large scrapbook and split the pages. So for example if you have two kids starting school the same day I would just give one page of the scrapbook to each child so they can feel free to decorate and add their favorite first day of school picture. I think this will help encourage kids to get excited about school and not just the first day. I would split every other page is for each of the children. This will help you keep track of a favorite project and cut down on back to school yearly clutter with art projects, activities and pictures. Instead of an actual scrapbook turn a large binder in to a scrapbook and use dividers to divide the space for each child.
I hope you like this activity and I hope you try it out and tell me what you think. Thank You
